Ardee Tennis Club

The club championship is the most important club competition in the annual calendar of events. Entrants can play in singles, doubles and mixed doubles for both men and women. These events offer entrants a chance at glory. They're also a good way to settle scores from previous club championships. Ardee Credit Union generously sponsered this year's championship. The club wishes to express its gratitude for the continued support of Ardee Credit Union for our club.

This section is to pay tribure to the finalists of all the events on Finals Day. The players provided a great spectacle and kept the onlooking crowds well entertained. Congratulations to the winners and our sympathy to the second places players. As the well worn phrase goes - there's always next year.




The Mens Singles final was contested by (LtR) Brendan O'Dornan and Shane Carroll. The winner was Brendan O'Dornan.




The Womens Singles final was contested by (LtR) Berny Carroll and Caroline Filgate. The winner was Caroline Filgate.

The Mens Doubles final was contested by (LtR) Joey Fay, Noel Gaynor, Mark Carroll and Gerry Halpenny. The winners were Noel Gaynor and Mark Carroll.




The Womens B Doubles final was contested by (LtR) Allison Gough, Mary Farrell, Anne O'Brien and Martina McBennett. The winners were Allison Gough and Mary Farrell.




The Womens A Doubles final was contested by (LtR) Theresa Gough, Berny Carroll, Caroline Filgate and Mary Gaynor. The winners were Caroline Filgate and Mary Gaynor.




The Mixed Doubles final was contested by (LtR) Noel Gaynor, Mary Gaynor, Debbie Fay and Joey Fay. The winners were Noel Gaynor and Mary Gaynor.
