Four Seasons Juvenile Competition October 2007
Welcome to the October 2007 Juvenile Four Seasons Competition. This is a new format of competition for our Juvenile members. It aims to provide more frequent tennis competitions throughout the year. Turnout was good considering it was held on a bank holiday weekend. The weather threatened to rain but graciously held off. The Juvenile members were in good spirits and everyone competed to the best of their ability. Parents, committee members and umpires all played their part. Well done everyone.
Juvenile Girls Section

Four brave girls braved the wind and the cold to enter the juvenile girl's competition. They are (LtR) Hannah Woods, Caoimhe McCormack and Eimear McCoy. Niamh Whyte is missing from the photograph. The winner was Eimear McCoy. Well done to Eimear and to all players. They played to the best of their abilities and impressed all onlookers.

First place was Jack Taaffe, second place was Ciaran Whelan and third place was Gary Alyward. The players are (Back LtR) Ciaran Whelan (second place), Jack Taaffe (first place), Gary Alyward (third place), (Front LtR) Patrick Clarke, Cathal McCoy, David White, Ciaran McCormack. Missing from the picture is Cathal Bradley. Our congratulations to all players and the club hopes that everyone enjoyed themselves.
Cheering Crowds and Contestants

Everyone had a part to play in the successful outcome of this competition. Parents made plans for their children and got them to the competition on time. They cheered, encouraged and found time for a chat. Committee members did their best to make sure the event passed off to everyone's satisfaction. Contestants, both very young and young, played to the best of their abilities and entertained all onlookers. Theresa and Aimee Taaffe ensured the matches ran smoothly. The club thanks everyone who played their part in making this a very successful outing and the club hopes that everyone enjoyed themselves. The club looks forward to seeing you all at the next Four Seasons Juvenile event.
