Welcome to the 2009 Junior Club Championship
The junior club championship is the
main competition in our annual schedule of junior events. It follows 8 weeks of Summer Camp and is a great opportunity for children to use their newfound skills in a competitive environment. The championship has two categories of standards, A and B. These categories seek to promote genuine competition. Within these categories, numbers permitting, we seek to run boys and girls singles, boys and girls doubles and mixed doubles. Most of all we hope that every boy and girl who enters enjoys themselves. Finals Day will be held on Saturday 22nd August.

Championship Rules
1. A match consists of best of 3 sets, with full tie break in all sets.
2. Players are expected to play the game in a courteous and respectful manner. There are to be no disputes. All queries are to be directed to the court supervisors.
3. The tournament referees, Adrian Blakemore and Maire Dowdall, reserve the right to make rulings and change the rules as they deems appropriate.
4. All scores are to be communicated to the court supervisors. If a court supervisor is unavailable then please text the result to the tournament referees on 085-1507484.
