Welcome to the 2009 Summer Camp
Welcome to Ardee Tennis
Club's 2009 Summer Camp. This event will run over 7 weeks and will
allow junior members to practice their tennis in a fun environment over
the summer holidays. Boys and girls aged 6 years and over of all
standards are welcome to attend.
The Summer Camp will run from Monday June 29th to Friday August 14th and will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There will be three classes on each of these days. The first class will be from 10-11am and will be for junior members aged 6-9. The second class will be from 11-12pm and will be for junior members aged 9-12. The final class will be from 2-3.30pm and will be for junior members aged 12 and over. For safety and organisational purposes there will be a limit of 24 junior members per session.
Theresa Taaffe and Aimee Taaffe will run each class and will be assisted by several senior junior members (typically aged over 16 years). Toilet facilities will be available in the Ardee Community School gym. Unfortunately daily sessions at the Summer Camp will be cancelled if the weather conditions are sufficiently bad.
The cost per session will be €2. In addition all attendees are required to be members of Ardee Tennis Club. Membership rates from 1st June 2009 to 31st May 2010 are €40 per junior member or €160 per family (includes 2 adults and all children aged under 18).
Interested parents can sign in their children at any of the sessions subject to limits on numbers. Forms need to be filled out so we ask for your understanding on the first day of your child's attendance and that you arrive 15 minutes early to fill out said forms.
